Policy Exchange Missions

Policy Exchange Missions are an integral part of the WCCP platform. WCCP seeks to bring together prominent business and civic leaders from Greater Boston for the purpose of traveling to cities around the world to learn about innovative urban policies that can help shape the future of Massachusetts.

Policy Exchange Mission delegations meet with academic experts, leading business executives and elected officials in host cities to learn how common urban challenges are being tackled around the world. Missions include site visits, exclusive briefings and behind the scenes access to projects that are shared urban issues. The ability to interact face to face with leaders on the ground provides delegates a deeper understanding of what makes other cities thrive – and how Bostonians can implement winning strategies here at home.

In addition, Policy Exchange Missions aim to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for delegates including, meetings with high-level dignitaries, private access to museums and historical sites, unique dinner settings, non-traditional lodging and other special accommodations. These shared experiences lead to strong bonds being built among leaders from Boston who may not have other opportunities to work directly together. These bonds are what fuse our collective efforts together to carry forward and implement innovative ideas and policies for the betterment of Massachusetts.
