Innovation as a Driver of Economic Development
In June of 2011 members of the WCCP Network (Barcelona, Boston, Dublin, Guadalajara, Haifa, Hangzhou and Vancouver) gathered to listen, to learn, to share, and to discuss global economic trends from world-renowned experts at the inaugural WCCP Summit. Representatives from each partner city were asked to give a 10 minute overview of their city and describe economic development strategies being employed and share challenges that each faced. Local civic and business leaders from Boston participated in a series of panel discussion and world-renowned experts shared their thoughts and perspectives on the common issues we face.
