Josie Lewis


Undergraduate Research Assistant/Co-op

Josie is a Health Science student with a minor in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at Northeastern, and is the president of the undergraduate chapter of National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association (N.S.S.L.H.A.) at Northeastern University. She will graduate in 2020 and hopes to continue her studies in speech-language pathology at the masters level. She completed her first co-op in 2018 at the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Rehabilitation. For her second co-op, she is doing Newborn Hearing Screenings at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and also working part time in the Speech and Neurodevelopment Lab. She is excited to be working on her own project during her co-op experience focusing on infant voice. In her free time, Josie enjoys biking, camping, sailing, and spending time with friends, family, and pets.
