11/11 Rehearsal and Updates

Rehearsal Schedule 11/11
6 PM – 7 PM - Haydn
7 PM – 8:45 PM - Rimsky-Korsakov

*When you come to rehearsal, please remember to sign in*

Our dress rehearsals are scheduled for November 17th and November 18th from 6 to 8:30, though they will likely go to 9. Remember, dress rehearsals are mandatory to play in the concert.

E-Board is holding elections for the following positions for Spring 2015: Vice President, Secretary,  Manager, Events Coordinator, and Fundraising Coordinator. If you are  interested or have any questions about the positions, please email Judi (nuorchestra@gmail.com) and Ariel (nuso.president@gmail.com). You only need to have been in orchestra for one semester to run! E-Board is a great way to get involved with orchestra – we do a lot of the  logistical and behind-the-scenes work to keep the orchestra running smoothly and  bring the concert together.  It’s also a GREAT leadership position for  your resume!
We are bringing pizza and brownies to this rehearsal for Veteran’s Day (yum )! Brownies will be out for all before, during, and after rehearsal (we’ll make sure some is left for winds, no worries!), and pizza will be  brought out after rehearsal.

Practice rooms are on the third floor of Ryder (code: 2-5-1). As members of orchestra we have access to these rooms (woohoo! ) but, unfortunately, we are not able to reserve them in advance. Other  practice room alternatives are empty academic classrooms at night,  practicing in your room, or reading through the music while listening to the recordings.
