Rabrenovic is Associate Professor of Sociology and the Director of theĀ Brudnick Center on Violence and Conflict at Northeastern University. Her research and publications are in the area of community studies and intergroup conflict and violence. Her current work focuses on the initiation, escalation, and persistence/desistance of conflict and violence in three conflict areas: Israel/Palestine, Northern Ireland, and the Balkans. Her books include Why We Hate (2004), which she co-authored with Jack Levin. She is working on a book on post conflict reconstruction in Northern Ireland. l Full Bio
